            The 101 Artists Colony shows the work of some of Southern California's finest visual artists. The reception on September 03, 2000 will feature Encinitas's newest surreal, fantasy oil painter Tamara. Tamara spends much of her time observing the world around her, fascinated by her dreams, people and events in her life because as she says, "They are me ... all me." "I paint for the same reason I breathe ... the same reason I live... I need to," says Tamara, "my subject matter is an open door to my mind, emotions, fears, passions, loves, and obsessions.
